Was a very hot day! We had a great time looking around the volcano. Could have done with longer There, as was abit rushed. Then went back to the harbour and walked round, got Lunch and drinks. Was too long in the heat there, for us and we could have done with less time. The guide was good,but the trip was mostly Germans, so he understandably spend more time talking in German,although this was, I believe, advertised as an English speaking trip.

If you’re visiting Kos this trip should be in your itinerary, it’s a very odd spectacle to see a volcano like this, and to smell it too! Bus pickup was on time, The boat was typical of what you’d expect for one of these trips, slightly run down but did the job. You need to pay for the bus on the island and the entry fee. The tour guide was very friendly, good mix of humour and facts. Spoke many different languages. Volcano visit was short but the smell of sulphur was quite bad so not complaining, and the town was fine, pretty in parts, mainly just full of tourists like us! Food in the restaurant was ok, it was recommended but not pushed that’s where you had to eat. I’m not sure we saw any better quality restaurants on the way around anyway. Would recommend you do the trip!

Good experience! Volcano is good to see and the town is very nice and traditional! Be prepared to pay extra however as this cost does not include the bus to the volcano which was not made clear which we had to pay. The bus cost another 12€ for two people. The entrance to the volcano is another 3€ per person although travellers are informed of this. Otherwise a good day! Restaurant that was recommended on the island was traditional and the food was high quality with large portion sizes for a good price.
