Kornati National Park

Sit down to a delicious packed lunch. Visit Telašćica Bay, one of the largest natural ports in the Adriatic, with 25 small beaches. View the cliffs of Dugi Otok which rise up to 161 meters above the sea and reach down to 90 meters below sea level. Keep an eye out for the local bird population that frequents the Mir salt lake. Hop into the salty lake for a swim in water that's warmer than the sea. Return to your meeting point in Zadar at the end of your tour.

Begin the tour at 8:00 AM as you board your ship. Immediately be spoiled with some delicious local Rakija and ham and cheese sandwiches for breakfast. Meet your tour guide and hear fascinating stories. Around 10:30 AM first stop in one hidden bay of Kornati islands. Free time and lunch of grilled meat, fish, and salad with Croatian wine. Vegetarian and vegan options are also available. On the second stop you will discover the views of the magnificent cliffs and bathe in the salt waters of Lake Mir or in the sea. Enjoy some juicy watermelon to help you stay hydrated on the journey back, arriving back at the pier at 18:00 PM.

If you love hiking, trek to the top of the island and admire the unique view of the Kornati Islands and islets. Then, get back to the boat to sail onward to Telascica. Tuck into your onboard lunch grilled fish with salad or vegetarian pasta made in tomato sauce, accompanied by wine. As the boat drops anchor at Telascica port, get ready to make the most of your 2 hours in the bay. Once in Telascica Nature Park, you can walk to the 150-meter-high lookout for stunning views of the Adriatic and the Kornati islands, swim in Lake Mir or the open sea, or simply chill by the catering facilities to sip on cold drinks. Finally, settle back in for the 3-hour return trip to Zadar, admiring the coastline along the way. If needed, the boat will make stops at the ports of Drazenica and Preko.

Visit the jewel of the Adriatic Sea on a full-day tour to Kornati National Park, departing from Zadar. Leave in the morning and make your way to the park via boat. After 2 hours and 45 minutes boat will stop on Levrnaka Island which is known for sandy cove. Take a swim in crystal blue sea of sandy cove Lojena and if you are hiking lover you can reach the top of the island and admire the unique view of Kornati islands and islets. The next stop is in Telascica Nature Park where you have free time to discover on your own. Go and see the cliffs which have breathtaking views from the top. Take a swim in the salt lake, where you can float while small sea crabs will clean your skin. Telašćica bay is perfect for snorkeling and swimming.

Sail toward the southern part of Dugi Otok Island. This is where the sea embraces Telašćica, whose name derives from the Latin "Telagus" (meaning 3 lakes). Relax on the boat with a book or sunbathe on deck. Enjoy views of the picturesque Mediterranean landscapes along the way. Chat with the skipper if you are interested in sailing and hear all the secrets of their ancient craft.  Upon arrival at Telašćica Nature Park, enjoy some free time to swim and snorkel. Go for a stroll and give a treat to the timid donkeys. There's a donkey reserve within the park and the coastal (or Dinaric) donkey is an indigenous Croatian breed. Currently, there are 14 donkeys living in Telašćica, while the entire area abounds with flora and fauna. The park has 3 smaller bays within its wider area. Telašćica is the largest and best-protected natural harbor on the eastern coast of the Adriatic. It has 5 islets, of which the small rock slab of Taljurić is the most extraordinary. Continue to Lake Mir in the southwestern part of the park. The salt waters of the lake derive from the underground canals that connect it to the sea. Archaeological excavations made in the area indicate the place was inhabited in the earliest periods. On the return journey, go to Stene (also known as the "Devil`s Cliffs"). Marvel at the vertical cliffs that rise up to 61 meters from the sea. They spread from Mrzlovica Cape on the northwest to the slopes of Veli Vrh on the southeast.

Let us present you with our favorite spot, a real hidden gem – the Lupeska Bay on the Kornat Island, where you can experience life Robinson Cruzoe-style, like a true castaway (quite) far from the civilization, with no running water there, no electricity, no ferries… and no other people! Just peace and quiet in the most beautiful surroundings under the sun… and LUNCHTIME! Enjoy our mouth-watering grilled chicken or fish, with a salad, all washed down with our heavenly Croatian wine! Oh, and don’t think that just because Lupeska Bay is so secluded you will be bored there – far from that! There’s a hill to climb (it’s a 15min hike), quite steep and rocky, so NO FLIP-FLOPS! If you want to enjoy the spectacular view from the top of the hill do not forget your sneakers! You can also enjoy snorkeling in the beautiful, clear, turquoise waters of the bay, amongst fishes, coral and anemones. Or, if you’d rather, there’s a place to simply lay out in the sun, enjoy the beautiful view and a music of the cicadas, and work on your tan! Next stop is Telascica Nature Park. Telašcica Nature Park. Now it’s the time for you to explore the island on your own! During the two hours of your free time you can choose to go to the stunning viewpoint of the Cliffs (it’s just a 10 minute walk), go take a picturesque stroll around or plunge in the salty lake (it’s really warm!), enjoy the delicious coffee in the local café, swimming in the sea, or go see the adorable, one-of-a-kind donkeys in the local shelter (it’s an indigenous breed, you can’t meet them anywhere else!). On our way back unwind after a whole day of adventure, enjoying the views, a refreshing piece of fruit, your unlimited drinks and the nice breeze on your face.

The traditional wooden boat Nenad takes you on a full-day cruise to the most indented part of the Mediterranean with 150 islands and islets on 320 hectares, the vast majority of which are in the protected area of the National Park—sailing along the stone lighthouse of Vela Sestrica from 1876. under the cliffs on the south side of Telašćica. The excursion continues by sailing into the Telašćica Nature Park where lunch on the boat will take place. Telašćica is a natural continuation of Kornati, the largest and safest bay on the Adriatic, where you can swim in the bay itself or in Salt Lake, which also has medicinal properties due to its very high salinity. Walking, it is possible to visit the viewpoint above the 150-meter cliffs that plunge into the open sea in the south of Dugi Otok.

Swim in the pristine waters of Natural Park. Meet your guide in Zadar Old Town, on peer Obala Petra Krešimira IV and hop on boat Branimir. Check in time is at 7:45 and the tour starts at 8:00. Enjoy your breakfast and local liquor savouring as your guide introduces you to the fascinating story of the sites you are going to visit and Croatian traditional shipbuilding. Your first stop is the island of Kornat. We arrive there at 10:30. There you will have your brunch and try some local traditional food, and also have free time to swim. Next, you'll experience sailing towards other islands of the National Park, starting at 12:00, where besides beautiful island scenary you can also spot dolphins in cristal clear sea while on boat. We'll take you to beautiful places where you can jump off the boat and swimm in pristine clear sea. After experiencing one of the cleanest parts of Adriatic Sea with all of your 5 senses, now is the time to go back to Suha Punta Bay at 14:15 to enjoy your lunch like the locals do and find out why a fish in Croatia swimms 3 times! At the and of the day get back to your boat at 15:45 and sit or lay down taking sunbath, relax and enjoy in final views of the islands. Let us pamper you with dessert and refreshments before arriving back to Zadar at 18: 15 at the same place where the tour started.

Discover the stunning Kornati National Park and Telašćica nature park by boat. Set sail from the port in Vodice, crossing the Adriatic sea to enter the national park.
