    Your trip begins with a visit to Socerb Castle. Learn about the castle's importance during the Middle Ages as you take in the beautiful view of the Gulf of Trieste. Hear about legends of a local cave and its underground shrine. After your castle visit, move on to the Mediterranean village of Hrastovlje.   Best known for its Church of the Holy Trinity, spend time in Hrastovlje and visit its UNESCO World Heritage Site. See the church's intricate frescos of bible stories and Glagolitic inscriptions. Learn about the church's extensive history extending to the 13th-century and the discovery of Janez of Kastav's part in painting the church.    From Hrastovlje, drive to the village of Marezige and see where the first wine fountain of Slovenia is located. Continue on with a visit to a renowned olive oil farm. Replenish yourself with tastings of excellent olive oil, wine, and food. Throughout the tour admire scenes of unspoiled nature and stunning vistas.

      A very nice tour in the hinterland of the Slovenian Adriatic coast! Due to the corona, we were the only two participants on the tour, so the excursion had something almost familiar, especially since our guide Grega spoke almost perfect German and gave us a lot of information about the country and its people. During the wine and food tasting in a small winery, we experienced real Slovenian hospitality. An all-round successful tour that we would do again at any time.
