We had a wonderful walking tour around Kolkata’s most iconic historical sites with our guide Anirban, he was extremely well versed with all the history of the British Raj and we learnt so much about Kolkata in the colonial era from the tour. I would recommend anyone visiting Kolkata to sign up for this tour as this is a monumental aspect of the city’s rich heritage and current identity as India’s cultural capital. Big thanks to our guide for such a great tour!
Some tour guides just have a routine and some you can tell have a personal passion and pride and greath depth of knowledge and that is definitely Anirban! Great guide, very friendly and informative tour and a fantastic introduction to the streets of Kolkata.
