Oahu: Sunset Photography Tour with Professional Photo Guide

1. Oahu: Sunset Photography Tour with Professional Photo Guide

Perfect for photography enthusiasts and those who love a sunset... not only does this tour position you in perfect timing to capture the brilliant colors of a Hawaiian sunset, but you get to take pictures of the sunrays as they touch and graze the topography of Oahu Island’s windward side. Enjoy cool breezes on top of mountains, the calming effects of a Buddhist temple, delicious local food not found in Waikiki, paragliders flying over lighthouses and sea cliffs on the water’s edge. Begin your journey high above the clear waters of Hanauma Bay. Ask your guide to discuss the feature of this world-renowned bay, then drive to the Lana'i lookout. The blue colors of the Kawai channel are both breathtaking and overwhelming. Depending on the time of year, you may spot the Hawaiian-born hump-backed whale. A stop at Koko Crater Botanical garden is next on the list. Beautiful and intricate groves of plumeria will have you stopping to smell and photograph these bright tropical flowers. The spirit of this location is pleasing and benefits all visitors with a sense of inner peace, serenity and, of course, by providing the gift of beautiful images. Centered and inspired, you’ll be brought up close and personal with the Ko’olau Mountains at the Makapu'u lookout for an unforgettable experience in this protected landscape. You’ll understand why this location was designated as a National Natural Landmark in 1972 because preserving the pure quality of this natural place is worth appreciating. Anyone looking for memorable things to do in Oahu will feel the value in sharing space with the majestic Ko’olau Mountains.  Watch the Halona Blow spout. You could be really lucky to see the water shoot up over your head at this movie location and favorite photo spot. After snapping the shots of the Blow Hole and Eternity Beach, you’ll prepare to photograph Hawaii’s most epic sunset on the eastern tip of Oahu, where you’ll capture the sun dropping down the sky along the sea cliff walls.

Kurt our tour guide was an excellent hos. He had photography tips for all members of the group regardless of the type of photography they chose, whether a phone or the latest Nikon DSLR. He also ensured that all members of the group were safe and were not asked to go outside their comfort level even in descending the path to the spitting caves with a couple of almost 80 year Old's. Very well done Oahu Photography Tours

The tour was one of if not the best tours in Oahu. Enjoyed every minute of it. Kirk was super funny and enjoyable to be around. learned a ton of tips about photography and would 100/10 recommend to any on Oahu

The tour was great for those traveling alone, you have a small group that you get to know and see beautiful places where you probably wouldn't have gone on your own. I can only recommend the tour.
