What to Expect
You’ll be picked up from your Koh Samui hotel in the morning and transferred to Thong Krut pier to begin your full-day big game fishing adventure in the Gulf of Thailand.
A half-hour boat ride will take you to Koh Tan, considered to be the best place around to catch the big ones! You’re sure to have great fun and a relaxing time, enjoying the adventure as well as the peace and quiet of this tranquil spot.
Koh Tan, also known as the Coral Island, is a primitive and serene place with a total area of 7.5 square kilometers. The island, which is a neighbor of Koh Samui, features just one tiny village and no roads or cars. Koh Tan is surrounded by coral reefs and boasts white sand beaches.
In addition to the great fishing, you’ll find that the island is a perfect spot for snorkeling and sun-bathing as well. Lunch is served at a local restaurant, and after an enjoyable afternoon you’ll head back to Koh Samui at around 16:00.
