Morning pick-up from Kochi City Hotels and proceed for sightseeing of Kochi. Firstly visit to Mattancherry Palace is a historic Portuguese-built palace with Dutch renovations, famous for its murals and royal artifacts. (Note: Mattancherry Palace or Dutch Palace is closed on Fridays) Paradesi Synagogue built in 1568, is the oldest active synagogue in the Commonwealth. (Note: Paradesi Synagogue closed on Friday noon & Saturday). Chinese Fishing Nets are iconic fishing structures introduced by Chinese traders in the 14th century. St. Francis Church, built in 1503, is India's oldest European church (NOTE: Closed on Saturday Noon & Sunday Morning). The Kerala Kathakali Centre showcases Kathakali dance-dram. Later drive back to pick point to Kochi city hotel.

Enjoyed our guide and what he showed us. I was surprised that additional features were not included like actually seeing the fishing nets in action on their platform rather than from shore. Due to a day visit , we were not able to see an evening show which was part of our programme, and nothing was offered to replace Overall, the tour was satisfactory.
