Full description

Start with pickup from your hotel in Koh Lanta Yai at 8:30 AM. Board the long tail boat in Koh Lanta's old town (before getting on the boat, customers must pay the park entrance fee to the staff at the pier.) and travel first to Ko Chuek known as "Rope Island." Enjoy an opportunity to snorkel early in the morning while there are no currents and the water is amazingly clear and turquoise in color. Next sail to Koh Muk, or "Pearl Island", where the Emerald Cave is located. While in the cave, swim on the hidden beach and the lagoon, in what is the highlight of the day trip.  Enjoy a delicious buffet lunch right on the beach at Koh Ngai, a lush paradise island teeming with colorful fish along its shores. After lunch visit Koh Maa, or "Horse Island." Here you can do more snorkeling, swimming, or relax for the remainder of the afternoon before being returned to Koh Lanta. Tour itself was really amazing, all the staff very kind and helpful. Beautiful swim through the cave and good snorkelling points. Only bad thing was a weather on our way back, it was really windy so waves were enormous. I thought we all gonna drown into the sea, but luckily the driver was very experienced and he managed it so well. Staff stayed all calm and there was no panick at all. It was very intense journey and I was so thankful we arrived back to Koh Lanta safe. Thumbs up for all the staff. I definetely recommend this tour, but go only when is good weather condition predicted.

C’était une très bonne expérience. Nous prenons le bateau Longtail pendant une heure pour rejoindre la première ile. Pour ceux qui craignent le bateau, il vaut mieux prévoir des cachets car ça bouge beaucoup. Mais c’est tenable. Les îles étaient très belle, notre endroit préféré a été là Emerald Cave qui coupe le souffle. Le guide était adorable. La nourriture était bonne et suffisante. C’est aussi moins cher sur le site que en général quand on réserve sur place. Je recommande Par contre, nous étions un groupe de 15-20 personnes, ce ne sont pas des petits groupes. Mais ça n’a pas été dérangeant pour nous !

The tour holds what the description promises. You get to snorkel twice (beware of the venomous plankton that is itchy), see some nice fishes, swim through the tunnel cave to the Emerald’s Cave and enjoy some time at Koh Ngai’s beach. Take into account that you will spend at least half of the tour on the longtail boat with a superloud engine. We also waited probably half an hour at the Old Town Pier before things moved. The lunch served at the beach is the most touristy, unspiced food we had in two weeks Thailand. But that’s not what we booked the tour for.
