Pickup is available from any hotel on the West Coast of Koh Chang, starting from the ferry stop to Klong Koi beach in the south. There is no pickup for the East Coast hotels. Pickup from starts from 7:45 AM. White Sands - 8:00 AM, Klong Prao - 8:10 AM, Kaibe - 8:20 AM, Lonely Beach - 8:30 AM, Bailan - 8:40 AM, Bang Bao area - 8:45 AM.

Awesome instructor! Really good with the clients and really expert instructor. I felt that I was in safe hands with him. Everything else was also great, the boat, the food and drinks on the boat were super good. I definitely recommend this activity for anyone who wants to try scuba diving and who don't have scuba diving certification under their belt.

Excellent day overall. We had an induction and session and then two dives and two different locations with a lovely Thai food lunch. Tam was our instructor, he was clear and constructive in explaining the activities and encouraging us. He made the day very enjoyable. Would highly recommend BB divers.

Full description

Enjoy a 1-day beginner's scuba diving program without certification. Explore the fascinating underwater world around Koh Chang or Koh Rang National Park on this full-day experience. After pickup from your hotel, travel to the Bang Bao Pier where you will hop aboard the boat and get ready for a marine adventure. The boat will depart at 9:00 AM. Receive an introduction to scuba diving and safety guidelines, followed by a few exercises in shallow water. Then, you will be taken on 2 dives to discover the coral reef.  Visit the beautiful coral sites around Koh Chang on some days, and head to Koh Rang National Park on other days, depending on weather and sea conditions. Both areas are stunning and offer prime snorkelling spots. The Koh Chang sites include a shipwreck, while the National Park sites include a beach stop.  Indulge in a tasty lunch buffet with delicious non-spicy food, and refresh your tastebuds with fresh fruit in the afternoon. Your boat will return between 4:00 and 5:00 PM, after which you will be transferred back to your hotel to enjoy the rest of your evening.

Know before you go

  • The hotel transfer is only for West Coast hotels of Koh Chang, starting from the ferry stop to the South. There is no pick up for the East Coast, you will need to come to the meeting point at Bang Bao Pier instead
  • The exact pickup time will be advised after the booking is made
  • Please submit any specific dietary requirements at the time of booking
  • Children are allowed on board but they must sit on your lap
