The tour departs from Thesen Island Harbour Town and heads out onto the pristine Knysna Lagoon, home to an array of native birds and marine life. On board the ‘Oyster Boat', spend a leisurely 75-minutes exploring the lagoon as you sail to the breathtaking and imposing Knysna Heads. Captain of the boat was very knowledgeable about Knysna and the surrounding area and shared a lot of things we did not know before. The ride itself was up to the Heads, but not through them to open sea. So we kind of went in a circle. There were blankets on the boat for warmth - it was chilly. We enjoyed the ride, but wished we could have gone past the Heads.

We loved it. Our guide was excellent. He was professional, knowledgeable and very friendly. Told us everything we need to know and a lot of things that we liked to hear about. The trip was professionally managed, the guide was excellent and to our surprise - the drinks served, was out of this world. Great value for money and time well spent.
