We contacted our guide the previous evening when he explained the program and told us what to bring. We met him in the village where he gave us walking poles and we started off It was an amazing hike covering the stone bridges and took us through woods, downhill, uphill and some river beds. The day was hot but the forest provided cover. Water was available on the way at drinking fountains. Make sure you use sunscreen and protect your arms from scratches and bugs with longer sleeves You will need at least good trainers for the walk not sandals. Our guide was excellent and explained so many things and had interesting anecdotes about the area and it’s history Definitely a must do.
