What to Expect
This tour takes you from start to finish through a journey of Bob Marley Kingston's life. You will begin by being transported through the capital city in the vicinity of down town Kingston to Culture yard, a yard in vicinity of Trench Town where Bob Marley relocated after moving from his home town in Nine Mile St. Ann. The tour continues onward to Tuff Gong Studio, one of the world’s most famous reggae studios where some of Bob Marley's favorite instruments can be seen. This journey will then conclude at the Bob Marley Museum, where he once lived on Hope Road.
Here you will experience the sights and sounds of Bob Marley’s day-to-day life. The museum is a national heritage site kept in its natural state. On this location you will be guided to original home where he and his family lived while he was alive. On the property there is a gift shop, One Love café, threatre and exhibition hall. In the museum you will see some of Bob Marley’s favorite clothing, his style of cooking and photographs of his children, the legacy left behind by Mr. Marley, the King of Reggae.
You will be able to see a 15-minute video clip of Bob Marley in the air-conditioned theater and, at the end of the tour, make a purchase from the gift shop or eat some of Mr. Marley favorite meals from the One Love café.
