Full description

The tour will pass through small towns like Milltown and Castlemaine before reaching your first stop at Inch Beach. Inch has provided shooting locations for several Hollywood films, including the epic Ryan’s Daughter. 

Then, travel to Dingle town, a beautiful harbor town where the fishing boats unload the daily fish catch throughout the day. 

Continue to Slea Head Drive, a scenic circle loop of 26 miles (41 kilometers), and travel through Ventry, Dunquin, and Ballyferriter. Enjoy the magnificent views of the seven rocky Blasket Islands, spectacular cliffs, and idyllic beaches, rounding the head of the peninsula.

This is the edge of Europe and history is everywhere - Iron Age forts, beehive huts, early-Christian churches, 19th-century cottages and picturesque stone houses set against a patchwork of fields. The town of Dingle is rich in culture, traditional music, great pubs and restaurants. There will be a stop here for lunch and a walk around the town at your leisure. After lunch, the bus will return to Killarney town center via Camp and Tralee (home of Rose of Tralee Festival).

It was a great tour, Dingle and the peninsula was beautiful. Try to book the tour on a nice day as the views are incredible if you can see. You spend a long day driving with just short stops except for the 1 1/2 lunch break in Dingle so be prepared to sit a lot. If you don’t have a car (like me) its a great way to see the sights! Sit on the passenger side of the bus if you want to be on the ocean/cliff side, sit on the driver side of the bus if you want to be next to the mountain side. The driver was non stop comedy, jokes, and stories. Bat was awesome - thank you!!!!

We had the most amazing day visiting the Dingle Peninsula on this day tour. The staff of the tour company were most friendly and thoroughly organised. We met our amazing tour guide, Batt, and the fun began. Batt made the day perfect with his local knowledge, Irish humour and songs of his homeland which kept everyone thoroughly engaged for the entire day. This most beautiful part of the world came alive and we learned all about the history and local legends from this amazing storyteller. We would recommend this tour to anyone.
