Kick-start your historical adventure by the Kilkenny Crystal Shop. Then, cross the River Nore towards Kilkenny County Hall, where you will find out about the most famous scholar in Kilkenny's history.

From there, head to St. John's Priory and the Butler Gallery. Continue on to Kilkenny County Library and the Great War Memorial. Cross into Irishtown and St. Canice's Cathedral, where the city's history began. See many other fascinating sights along the tour, including Kieran and Parliament streets, the Black Abbey, and more.

Finish your tour in front of the stunning Kilkenny Castle, home to the Butler family for 600 years.

We were very happy with our Kilkenny walking tour last week! It was a nice overview of the city centre and just the right amount of time. We missed the starting point due to traffic and parking issues and the guide (Chris, I believe) quickly returned our call to let us know the next point on the tour so that we could join. It was very appreciated! Thank you, we really enjoyed our time in Kilkenny!

Ik had een privetour van John er had niemand anders geboekt. John is een aardig persoon en weet veel over Kilkenny en weet het boeiend en leuk te vertellen. Als je vragen heb weet hij ze te beantwoorden en is niet gehaast,je krijgt genoeg tijd om alles in je op te nemen en te bekijken,ook heeft hij leuke tips,zoals de wandelroute naar Bennetsbridge langs de rivier,zeker de moeite waard en als je daar bent ga dan naar Crafted artcafe,heerlijke koffie,meatroll en een chocoladebiscuitcake met saus&creme...hemels!!! En niet te vergeten dat John maar 12 euro vroeg ipv 25 a 30 euro zoals zijn collega,s die we onderweg tegenkwamen,zeker de moeite waard om John te boeken!
