Our Mombasa Children's Homes Tour focuses on providing education, food, shelter, clothing and other personal needs to the less privileged children in the slum and is open to all children irrespective of gender, religion, tribe or race as long as they are among the most vulnerable in the society. We try to gather help and support boys and girls who live or have lived on the streets of the city of Mombasa.You can give food items, mattresses, beddings and other supplies. The children’s homes relies on well-wishers to provide for the orphans, abandoned and neglected children of all age. This tour take you to Children's homes that welcomes, rehabilitates and trains boys and girls who live on the streets in the Mombasa area, on the Kenyan coast.The majority of this children live on the street, they suffer from domestic violence in their homes, drug and alcohol abuse in their families, the death of their father or mother, etc. The center is in charge of rescuing the minors, giving them a safe place to live and care for them, when possible, they look for their relatives and reunite them, they also provide educational support, training in different areas, and supporting them with need medical care, psychosocial support or HIV prevention services. It boasts a rich biological diversity:plants nearly 600 species,birds over 200 species.some of which are found nowhere else,brilliantly coloured frogs and butterflies, many of yhem found only in arabuko;aswell as small and large mammals, including caracal and elephants. Arabuko means a place of thin elephants! . Here we will start our walk from the visitors center through the forest trails try to find the rare suni antelope and the endemic golden rumped elephant shrew with lots of other wildlife, after we will get in our car drive and game viewing as we head towards the Nyari view point for bush picnic and relaxing. In the afternoon drive to the cynometra thicket to see the endemic sokoke scops owls and then proceed towards the arabuko swamp to see the African elephants.
