  • Maui: Molokini and Turtle Town Snorkel Tour with Lunch

    1. Maui: Molokini and Turtle Town Snorkel Tour with Lunch

Your snorkeling tour to the Molokini Crater and Turtle Town begins at Maalaea harbor, where you'll board the boat. Start the day off right with a breakfast of eggs, ham, cinnamon rolls, donuts, coffee, fruit, and juice. Located off the south shore of Kihei and rising 300 feet (91 meters) out of the water, the extinct volcanic cone of Molokini provides the opportunity to see native Hawaiian marine life in their natural habitat. Spot manta rays, fish, and sharks, who swim around the coral year-round. Molokini is protected as a marine preserve and bird sanctuary, so you can expect pristine conditions. Use the provided snorkeling equipment to explore the underwater world and take advantage of the two water slides into the water. You can also take a peek at the reef without getting in the water via the glass-bottom viewing room. To ensure safety, a lifeguard will be in the water at all time...

  • Maui: Turtle Town Kayak and Snorkel Tour

    2. Maui: Turtle Town Kayak and Snorkel Tour

Explore the ocean and see marine wildlife on this family friendly kayaking tour– great for children 5 and up. On this group kayaking tour, you will kayak roughly 2.5 miles through Makena Bay. Turtle Town is known as one of Maui's best kayaking and snorkeling destinations. Spot ocean wildlife as you battle through the blue hawaiian surf. This location is famous for the Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle population and exceptional paddling conditions on Maui's calm blue waters. It is also very common to see manta rays and dolphins as well as the Hawaiian monk seal. During whale season (October thru April) you will have the opportunity to see Humpback whales during their annual migration to the Islands to mate and give birth.

Great experience and fun despite getting sea sick from the kayak. However, the tour guide Jakeb, was extremely helpful and patient with me and hilarious! You will have a great time with Jakeb. Definitely take something for nausea before kayaking, just in case you get sick or the waters a choppier than usual. (5 stars)

Our guide, John, was charismatic and knowledgeable. The kayaking was a blast and we got to kayak alongside dolphins! The snorkeling was also excellent, we saw a wide variety of fish and our guide found a huge sea turtle for us to see! Was overall an excellent tour and was the perfect amount of time. Would definitely recommend it and do it again ourselves next time we’re in Maui. Just FYI the whales are only around Jan-March.

It was so fun! The instructor was amazing and he taught us how to surf super easily! I planned this activity for my husband since he’s wanted to surf for quite a while, and even though I didn’t think I’d really get into it, I LOVED it!!! We had so much fun that we went back the next day and rented surf boards to go out again!

John gave me confidence to get in the water as I started the day as a “Nervous Nellie”. His instruction and consideration for newbies was amazing. We had such a great time and loved the vibe of the paddling to the snorkeling. Top notch and THANK YOU!!! Love, A former Nellie

Madison was our guide and she did a great job. We stopped at an awesome snorkeling location and a turtle filled location. We snorkeled every day we were on Maui and this was our favorite day!
