I was very lucky to experience whale breaching for the first time. I was much closer than when I went whale watching on the east coast of the United States, and I was satisfied to see so many whales. However, I thought I would prepare for the next opportunity because I don't think I would be able to take the best shots and images unless I was fully prepared with the timing and equipment for the photo shoot.
