    An excellent private tour with a lovely guide (Anastasia) who was highly knowledgeable and great company for the day. This is a great time of year to go, as there are not many visitors (we saw only a couple of other small groups in the hour and a half we spent in Pripyat, so it really did give the sense of total desertion in the town) and you can see much more of the buildings as the leaves have fallen from the trees. Being a private tour you get to see more of the unusual sights than the larger coach groups, such as the unfinished cooling tower, which was jaw-dropping when standing right at its base, and can ask to see specific areas of interest, rather than sticking to a rigid itinerary. A really though-provoking visit, and I would recommend spending a little more on a private tour if you can, it is really worth it for such a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

    We visited Chernobyl as a private tour. Our tour guide max, was amazing. Max was full of information, very friendly and polite. Very good English too. When we were picked up, max asked us if there was anywhere we wanted to visit in particular. Max took on board everything, even went out of his way to show us his favourite places. There was no question left unanswered, we all learnt more from max than any book or television programme. One thing I must say - max is so passionate. The way he speaks about the disaster comes straight from the heart, and this made our tour even more special. A big thank you to max, we will never forget the experience you gave us. Everything was perfect. As soon as you picked us up, we felt as though you had always been a friend to us. Thank you again.

    Max was a great guide, super knowledgeable & friendly and being a private tour meant we got to see more than the larger groups and were able to stop longer or shorter at places depending on what worked for us. I am so glad we chose to visit Chernobyl this way. On top of this the car was comfortable and we were glad not to be in a mini van the whole day like other tours, especially on the way home!

    This was the best tour I have ever been on! I had read the reviews and asked for Max as our guide. Max was amazing and very knowledgable about the site and how to avoid the larger groups. The site was fascinating and with Max’s knowledge we saw things that we didn’t even know were on site. Please thank Max for us for giving us a truly memorable day.

    We had a private tour with Constantine, couldn’t have asked for a better more informative and friendly tour guide, life changing experience that Constantine was a major part of, got everything we came for and were greeted with water bottles and hand wipes just in case. 100% recommend once this whole corona-virus is over.
