Enjoy a tour of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra with a knowledgeable guide. Founded in the 11th century, Kiev Pechersk Lavra is one of the most sacred places in the Orthodox world. This UNESCO-listed  Historical and Cultural Reserve is one of the symbols of the city and a must-see for all travelers.

Your tour starts from its oldest part – the Caves. Walk through the cryptic underground labyrinths and see the holy relics of Lavra Saints, explore the man-made cells and discover the underground churches. Not far from the Caves, you will find Wells of Saint Anthony and Feodosy, famous for its healing properties. Later, proceed to the upper part of the complex and explore its highlights, including the restored Dormition Cathedral and Refectory Church. You will see the main building of the Lavra Bell Tower that rises 96.5-meters above the monastery. If you wish, you may climb to the top and admire a bird’s-eye view of Kiev.
