If you want to familiarize yourself with Ukrainian traditions and make a beautiful “pysanka” with your own hands, then this workshop is for you. You will spend your time in a fun and interesting way in a 2 hour workshop learning how to make traditional Ukrainian Easter Eggs.

During this master class, you will learn to decorate Easter eggs, using wax, natural dyes and fire. This traditional art has a long history and dates back to the pre-Christian era. It is believed, that pysankas bring happiness and prosperity to life. You will choose the pattern you like from a book, and the artist will help you design your own Easter egg in a positive and welcoming atmosphere.

An expert artist will explain to you the deep meaning of each color and symbol, behind decorating the pysanka. For example, fish symbolizes health, while couples of birds mean love,  and you will create your own masterpiece afterwards. The end result will be a super souvenir from Ukraine.
