Make your first stop at Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon to see the 42-meter-long reclining white Buddha. Then, head to Wat Phra Mahathat to spot the famous tree that has grown around a Buddha's head. What people are saying about Khao Yai National Park

Overall rating

4.4
(150 reviews)

The journey from Bangkok to Khao Yai takes around 3 hours. The trip was very nice. Individual requests were taken into account and enough breaks were taken. Our guide Prakadkiet (also called Jack, for better pronunciation ☺️) explained a lot to us and also made the day very good for our 2 children (6 and 10 years old). We discovered many exciting animals and plants on the hiking trail. Long clothing, as mentioned in the trip description, should definitely be worn. The plants extend far into the trail and you usually can't avoid them! We had a wonderful day and can only recommend this trip 😊

Visiting these places was truly amazing, with breathtaking scenery throughout. However, Mr. Peter was a standout highlight of the tour. His extensive knowledge and enthusiasm made the long drive feel much shorter. He meticulously attended to every detail, ensuring I stayed well-hydrated and well-fed throughout the journey. Mr. Peter went above and beyond in making the experience memorable. Highly recommended.

During the trekking in Khao Yai National Park, the guides and rangers taught us a lot about the flora and fauna, and we especially enjoyed taking photos at the roots of the giant trees and walking through them.

Nicky was very kind and patient with us throughout our trip. He even recommended places for us to go. Truly worth it!

Best trip and the guide K Jack was awesome. very energetic and excellent service by him. thank you
