The arrangement was a bit unorganized as we were being told 2 different pick up times and 2 different prices for round trip transfer. Via email I was being told one thing and last minute via phone through hotel reception I was being told another. All n all it worked out and we were picked up at the time that was told over the phone for the original price mentioned. Our guide was kind of hard to understand but the trip was pretty amazing. We went to one island and got to canoe around it with a different guide at the wheel then we went to JB island afterwards heading to a floating village to have lunch and then to a cave temple work monkeys everywhere.

We were picked up from our hotel just outside Khao Lak at 7am. The journey to the pier where we picked up our long tail boat was about an hour which was just right and it was a local village pier, not the crowded main pier. Other tours we’ve done have involved far too much driving for our liking! The tour was fantastic and the guide was very informative. I liked this tour mainly because it involved different things throughout the day, with none of the component parts lasting too long. I can highly recommend this tour to anyone, you won’t be disappointed.

The tour guide (Bao) and the drive (No) were excellent. Gave information about local industries etc on way. Even stopped for an excellent coffee. Small group, unbelievable scenary, very comfortable and private. Highly recommend. One of our party had limited mobility and required assistance into and out of the boats and canoes. Nothing was too much trouble.
