Don't miss out on a visit to Khao Sok National Park, one of the oldest virgin rainforests in the world. Get picked up from your accommodation in Khao Lak and drive for about an hour to reach the park. Make a stop at Khao Sok Viewpoint to enjoy a panoramic view of the rainforest covered in dense morning mist. Arrive at the Sok River and board a canoe paddled by experienced local guides. Take in views of the dense rainforest and towering limestone cliffs passing, flora and fauna that make the forest a paragon of biodiversity. Stop along the river and have a steaming cup of coffee served in bamboo cup. Board a bus bound for a local cave temple and hang out with the wild monkeys that linger in the entrance. Afterwards, get transported back to you accommodation in Khao Lak.

Pick up by Ken was welcoming and on time, he was very informative throughout the whole trip. The canoe trip was beautiful the scenery amazing and an excellent cup of tea/coffee made from bamboo. Overall journey 4 hrs. Would do this again and recommend if you’re seeking a short trip to Khao Sok

7 hours to dawdle (in the car) to go canoeing for 20 minutes ,,,, Then to see the monkey temple, well, the time has to be killed! Receive mail, sturdy footwear or flip-flops, (I decided to wear sturdy footwear and then wait with it through the water)
