Khao Lak: Phang Nga Bay & James Bond Island by Longtail Boat

Communication beforehand was regular and self explanatory. Our pickup was on time and professional. Marta, our tour guide explained our itinerary and passing sights comprehensively and informatively. The trip to James Bond Island, with a canoe stop around an island on the way, was definitely worth the distance we travelled from Khao Lak. Afterwards, lunch at the floating village was delicious and extremely rare. The final stop at a temple with the monkeys was different and certainly worth doing if you enjoy them. We returned timely and exhausted with fabulous photos and memories. Highly recommend. Thank you

Marta welcomed me onto the air conditioned bus at precisely the scheduled time and provided a clear and timed itinerary for the day. The route to the pier was scenic and comfortable. We boarded the longtail boat and the setting was unbelievably beautiful. The cave canoeing was led by expert boatsmen, who pointed out the rock formations. James Bond Island was busy, but the iconic photo was fab. The meal was plentiful and the floating village was really cool to see (definitely look beyond the market at the day-to-day life of a whole community’s home). The monkey temple definitely felt a low point of the day, but that was in part because it felt heavily commercialised for a place of worship. Definitely nothing to stop me giving 5* and recommending the day fully. If Marta is your guide, you will be in for a high quality and well managed day.
