We did a tour to the Similan Islands 2 days before which we thought was awful and almost wanted to cancel Surin Islands because of it. But everything was nicer here: - A boat where you could look out while driving (not as nice as in Krabi or Pattaya, where you could walk around and also have fun/animation while driving, but better than the mass transport to Similan , where you can only see if you stand up, but then get in the way of the crew). - And a lunch (plastic plates and buffet), where you could still feel like a guest and not like in a canteen (loud, dirty, metal plates with 6 wells already filled with food, which were pressed into your hand after a short queue ). The snorkeling and the islands are very nice. The guides were nice but with so many people and the noise on the boat they can't tell much and you don't learn much. It takes 105 minutes to drive to the islands.

We really enjoyed the tour. Everything is well organized. And Kwaan (sorry, if you misspelled it) accompanied us during the day in a very informative and entertaining manner in English that was easy to understand. Lunch was great and both drinks and fruits were provided at all times. We took a lot of nice impressions from that day. However, if you have problems with your intervertebral discs or are pregnant, you should better forego it, as the almost 2-hour outward journey by speedboat is a very hard ride on the waves.

Nice snorkeling tour on Surin Island. It was really nice, for me it is something you can do, not a must. The boat was great and everything was really well organized! The food was, except for the breakfast, also very good and plentiful. Would recommend the tour operator at any time.
