This was the best trip of our holiday and is definitely worth going on in my opinion. The crew were funny, friendly and showed us the best spots to snorkel. The tour guide was Stephanie who was hilarious and the best tour guide I have met, and I have been on many trips. The snorkeling was amazing with so much to see, I would definitely recommend a good underwater camera if you want to capture the beautiful, underwater scenery. Even when we went to beach to relax there were mini hermit crabs walking along. The food and drinks provided were delicious, especially the iced coffee and toffee cake on the way back. If you want an amazing day to remember definitely book this trip, I will be going on it again when I return to Thailand 🥰

Full description

Benefit from early morning pick-up from your hotel in the Khao Lak area and depart for the Surin Islands by speedboat. Snorkel at some of the best spots in Thailand and immerse yourself in the underwater world and turquoise waters. Visit the village of Moken to meet the locals and explore their unique culture and houses. Learn more about their way of life, and then stop for lunch on the beach at around midday. Go to 2 more snorkeling sites in the afternoon to explore the amazing coral gardens. Journey back to the Khao Lak area and get dropped off at your hotel at the end of a memorable trip.

We really enjoyed this trip. Although busy it much less rushed and over crowded than Phi Phi. The speed boat ride to the Moken village was very rough and took longer than exploring to the weather. However the guides were prepared with travel sickness pills, boiled sweets and sick bags. I recommend taking the pills if offered. Those that didn’t suffered- the guides clearly know what to expect! We found the village very interesting and our guide explained a lot about the history of the people. The snorkel sites were good and we had plenty of time to see lots of fish. Overall we found this trip very enjoyable- however be ready for a long day. We were picked up at 7 at Apsara and got back exhausted just after 7.
