Full description

Get back to nature at Khao Sok National Park with this combo activity. After getting picked up from your hotel in Khao Lak, make your way to the park. Stop along the way at the Khao Sok Viewpoint to admire panoramic views of the morning mist over the rainforest. Upon arrival at the park, set off on your hike through the jungle. Follow an easy 3-kilometer trail and get acquainted with the native flora and fauna along the way from your guide. Stop at a freshwater stream to freshen up and cool down before beginning the return journey (3 kilometers). Later, sit down to a delicious traditional Thai lunch then board a canoe or bamboo raft rowed by a professional paddler for a tour along the Sok River. Admire the breathtaking scenery along the river and stop at a riverbank for a cup of tea or coffee served in a bamboo cup that you can take home as a souvenir.

Finally, visit Khao Sok View Point to capture a panoramic view of the rainforest before getting dropped off back at your hotel.

We’be been picked up at 7am and dropped off at 4pm. Our Guide Toto was very friendly and tried to show us as many animals as possible. The trail was sporty, which was extreme fun for us, but we can recommend it for people with at least medium fitness level. The hike is def. not 3-4,5km. We walked 10k steps and aprox. 7km at the National Park. Lunch was ca. 15min by car at a beautiful spot in the nature. Food was great. Nevertheless only tourist tours were there for lunch and not one thai inhabitant at all, which seemed confusing. After that we could decide between bamboo tour or canoing. We chose the canoo but felt sooo bad about it!! These poor guides had to chauffeur us in crazy heat and sun while us white people were sitting lazy on the bamboo. That was so weird, we felt very bad about the decision afterwards. Definitely wouldn‘t choose it again. Nevertheless the coffee break at the mountain was great. We drank hot coffee which was boiled in bamboo. The taste was unique!

We had a great tour with JungleJoe! He is very knowledgeable and can tell you for hours about nature. We went off the beaten tracks and made a hike through the jungle. We saw snakes, frogs, monkeys, spiders, birds, lizzards and many more animals in their natural habitate.

Nice tour with great guides. We saw a lot of different animals and the nature is great. The park and the hiking route is quite touristy, you see a lot of other people on the trails. But it's still worth it because of the guides. I would actually prefer to go on a 2 days hike with a sleepover to get away of the crowded paths, but we didn't have enough time to do so. For a half day tour it's a good value.
