Since the tour starts early, please make sure to have breakfast before your pickup. Alternatively, you may order a breakfast box from the resort for convenience on the go. In the morning, we will be going for a jungle walk, so please wear closed-toe shoes or sandals. Additionally, remember to bring insect repellent, sunscreen, a towel, and swimwear. In the afternoon, we will participate in the river portion of the tour, so please bring flip-flops or comfortable shoes for that activity.

An unforgettable day in Khao Sok National Park! Our guide, Mong, made the tour truly special with his impressive knowledge of the local flora and fauna, as well as his incredible ability to spot wildlife in the dense jungle. Thanks to his keen eye, we were able to see a wide variety of animals along the 8-kilometer nature trail. The lunch was not only plentiful but also absolutely delicious. After the morning hike, the relaxing boat ride along the river was the perfect way to unwind while taking in the breathtaking scenery. This tour is highly recommended. Full description

Get back to nature at Khao Sok National Park with this combo activity. After getting picked up from your hotel in Khao Lak, make your way to the park. Arrive at the national park headquarters, and get registered.

Upon arrival at the park trail, set off on your hike through the jungle. Follow an easy 3-kilometer trail and get acquainted with the native flora and fauna along the way from your guide. Stop at a freshwater stream to freshen up and cool down before beginning the return journey (3 kilometers).

Later, sit down to a delicious traditional Thai lunch then board a bamboo raft, rowed by a professional paddler for a tour along the Sok River. Admire the breathtaking scenery along the river and stop at a riverbank for a cup of tea or coffee served in a bamboo cup that you can take home as a souvenir.


Finally, visit Khao Sok View Point to capture a panoramic view of the rainforest before getting dropped off back at your hotel.

Overall was a really good adventure our guide was so informative and could see his passion for nature and animals and the overall place. I would definitely like to add this hike isn’t for everyone and is particularly hard especially on a hot and humid day it can be rocky, unstable paths, a lot of high hills to climb but apart from that if you’re fit and healthy enough to do it then I’d definitely recommend! We saw wild monkeys, tarantulas, snakes, native insects and were informed about all the plants and different species around the area. The bamboo rafting was very relaxing and scenic and having fresh coffee/tea in bamboo cups half way made the trip.
