Full description

On this local fishing tour, you will have the chance to catch some tropical fish you won’t find back in your home county. You can even take it back to your resort or favorite restaurant and ask them to cook it for you.

You will sail along on a fantastic longtail boat in the Andaman Sea from Khao Lak Beach, trolling for fish along the way. Try your luck at catching some unusual and exotic fish.

Once a good fishing spot has been found, you will spend some time bottom fishing, as this is where you will have the best results. You will be accompanied by an English-speaking guide and an experienced, professional captain. You will  have the chance to catch many other species of fish including: king mackerel, barracuda, snapper, grouper, dorado, wahoo and more.

From the moment I was picked up, Sam was on time and punctual. He told me what to expect and a little about his home town Khao Lak. Captain Song took me out in the long boat and was extremely knowledgeable about the fishing locations. We caught snapper, grouper and coral trout. Catain song provided lunch and there was plenty of water and soft drink available. The long boat has an awning to protect you from the sun, but take sun screen and a hat as the reflection off the water is strong. Rods, reels and bait is suppled so you just need to bring your personal belongings. Captain Song is a legend, and thanks for a great day out.
