This was one of the best guided tours I’ve ever been on, in large part because we had an excellent tour guide named Nesma. We enjoyed the tour so much that we booked another one for the next day at Memphis, Saqqara, and Dashur with the same tour guide. We were picked up at our hotel by a car with a dedicated driver, in addition to the tour guide (no other visitors—just my group of 2). We then went straight to the Giza pyramids (including Sphinx) to beat the crowds/heat. Our tour guide took amazing photos and made recommendations about how to best use our time. We were then taken to a papyrus art house for a presentation and opportunity to buy the art. Next we went to lunch at a local restaurant, which was very good—chicken and lamb. The food was included, and although the drinks were not included, they were very cheap. Next, we went to the Egyptian Museum where our tour guide showed us all the most important artifacts and knew a lot of history. Then went to the bazaar.
A very good option that covers the main Islamic and Christian sites in Old Cairo and the Khan e Khalili bazaar. We had a very good guide Ahmed, who covered the history of the area and each site without an information overload. The highlight for us was the visit to the Citadel.
Ahmed was great. The visit to “old Cairo” was informative and Ahmed pointed out some hidden gems. The visit to the Citadel, mosque and market was an experience. He was very knowledgeable and kept us informed at all times. We had a great time in Cairo!
amazing experience!! our guide Ayman was super helpful. explained the history of the pyramids and had no objections to stopping and taking pics for us. I highly recommend this trip And this guide
The museum was very very interesting. It would take days to see it all. Khan El-Khalili Basaar was a true experience. We have nothing like it in the USA. A must see.
