My wife & I booked a private tour through the "Get Your Guide" app. We were lucky enough to be assigned Ahmed Elsayed. He was friendly, extremely knowledgeable, well spoken and passionate about his job. If you book a tour, I recommend that you specifically request Ahmed Elsayed. Highlights of the Cairo tour included riding camels at the second viewing point at the pyramids where all three are in view. In addition, the museum was filled with extremely impressive artifacts. We actually ended up booking a second tour with Ahmed Elsayed two days later to Alexandria. On that tour we visited the Kim al-Shoqafa, Pompey's Pillar, Qaitbay Citadel, the Alexandria Library and had a lovely meal on the waterfront.

Our guide Maged was absolutely amazing as he told us all about ancient Egyptian civilization in a very engaging and informative manner. He knew answers to all the questions we had and was even generous enough to buy us drinks and ice cream throughout the tour. Would absolutely recommend him and his driver Mustafa to anyone looking to book this tour!

A very good option that covers the main Islamic and Christian sites in Old Cairo and the Khan e Khalili bazaar. We had a very good guide Ahmed, who covered the history of the area and each site without an information overload. The highlight for us was the visit to the Citadel.

Amina was a great guide for our day at the pyramids and museum. She was very knowledgeable, spoke perfect english, and made sure to keep us highly engaged throughout the entire day. Highly recommend!

The museum was very very interesting. It would take days to see it all. Khan El-Khalili Basaar was a true experience. We have nothing like it in the USA. A must see.
