It was an okay experience. There were not many. There had been a tropical storm the night before, so there were high waves. That meant we couldn't sail to the coral reef, but were offered the opportunity to get the money back, or get out snorkeling o the Gulf of Mexico. It was cloudy. You could see some big fish, but not in their full color. - We also saw a giant shrimp ... The food was adequate. But better weather had made the experience better. Remember tips for the crew!

Fun trip with unfortunately too high swell

The trip with the catamaran, out to the reef, is fun, if you are seaworthy. On the reef, in the middle of the high seas, unfortunately we had a fairly high swell, which made snorkeling as a beginner quite difficult. For experienced snorkelers certainly unproblematic. The crew is trying very hard to have a good mood on the boat, which mMn also succeeded.

Water conditions sucked but the crew was great

Great crew, great boat, had fun but the conditions were not good. 2-3' chop and very advanced open water swimming skills required. Some effort was made to warn people and offer cancellations but many people were over their heads out there. I'm an experienced snorkeler and swimmer and I had a tough time. The reef was disappointing - very mono-tone and lacking in things to see. Still, we will book the trip again and hope for better water conditions. Very fun, professional staff on the boat!
