Choose from options like local totem parks, Herring Cove, local waterfalls, beaches, salmon hatcheries, local hikes, and bear viewing (in season). We are always on the lookout for wildlife like bears, but keep in mind that sightings are not guaranteed.
If you have special interest then we’ll do our best to make special stops! This is your experience and we do our best to accommodate your unique request!
Meet your guide at the cruise ship dock or arrange for an easy pickup and drop-off. Head to Totem Bight State Historical Park, a 33-acre park featuring 14 totem poles. Continue to the City Park of Ketchikan, a 2-acre park with a playground and picnic area.
Pass by Herring Cove, a popular spot for bear viewing, and Creek Street, a historic boardwalk with shops and restaurants. Drive by Saxman Native Village, a Tlingit village with a collection of totem poles.
(Optional) Stop at Ward Lake for a moderate hike or just take in the scenic views. Walk through the forest and keep an eye out for wildlife. Afterward, return to the cruise ship dock.
