The KSC Explore Tour goes beyond the Kennedy Space Center Bus Tour, making several stops to capture once-in-a-lifetime photo opportunities. Get a photographic view of numerous spaceflight icons like the Vehicle Assembly Building and historic Launch Complex 39, disembarking to capture photos along the way to the Apollo/Saturn V Center.

Know before you go

  • When buying a 2-Day Admission Ticket, you can return for a second time within 6 months
  • Kennedy Space Center's last entry is at 4:00 PM
  • It is not necessary to take the Kennedy Space Center Bus Tour in addition to the KSC Explore Tour. Both tours end up at the Apollo/Saturn V Center. Explore on your own before taking any visitor complex tour bus back to the main visitor complex
  • It is recommended to take about an additional hour for the Apollo/Saturn V Center and about 15 minutes for the return journey

AMAZING! At least for anyone who likes space exploration, rocket technology, NASA history, etc... YES, if you come here you SHOULD book THIS extended bus tour, instead of just taking the normal bus tour (which is included in the general admission). The extend tour (called "Explore") brings you to soo many more places on the whole KSC area vs. the standard tour basically only drives you to Saturn V center, where you pass some buildings form a far but never get anyhow close to the launch sites etc. Our guide on the bus tour was really cool, which I believe is basically always the case (they are all pros & entertainers). And yes, you will also want to probably spend 1,5 days at KSC as there is just so much to see that you won't make it in 1 day incl. the extended bus tour. The KSC visitor center is incredibly well made! Prices for drinks & foods are fair (given you are in the US and in Florida). What else? Time it with a rocket launch, if possible! Was the case for us and was G-R-E-A-T!
