What people are saying about Kefalonia

This was a great day out with our guide Theodore who was friendly and helpful, giving us lots of information about the area and answering all our questions. He also volunteered to take family photos at all the scenic viewpoints. The minibus tour was great but the high light of the trip had to be the boat excursion to Navagio (shipwreck) beach where you get to spend an hour before being taken to the blue caves. I was amazed how far they took the boat in to the caves, we were lucky that at one of the caves the water was not too choppy and were able to take a quick swim here too. Theodore didn’t join us on the boat trip but his colleague Kostas was also very pleasant. After the boat trip there is a quick lunch stop at a local taverna which was okay - my wife says her prawns were amazing. A quick stop at the oldest olive tree on the island and then back to be dropped if at our accommodation. A thouroughly good day and I felt it was great value.

Well organized. Friendly guide and driver. Long bus ride but Eleni, our guide, offered interesting commentary along the way, so that helped. Not a lot to see along the way, but Meteora is simply awesome! On the day we went, we saw Varlaam and Rousanou monasteries. Enjoyed both but Rousanou is very small and not as impressive as Varlaam. Disappointed to only have about 15 minutes at the viewpoint. There are so many tour buses and people trying to get photos, it's hard to get a chance to take it all in.

Excellent trip!!! Wonderful guide Helen: thank you very much for your guidance and bringing us joy with the magnificent views of Meteora! The drive was comfortable, thanks to the driver. In overall one of the best trip we have taken!

Well organized trip. Very beautiful and interesting sights. The guide Nefeli was very kind and helpful. The bus ride was convenient. The food in the restaurant was amazing. Highly recommended!

Organized very well. Amaxing and excellent tour. Unfortunately no wi-fi in the bus.
