Important information

Know before you go

The boats at Lake Melissani are 12-person rowboats with a rower. Passengers might encounter crowds when boarding during the peak season in July and August.
The boat ride lasts around 10-15 minutes and includes entry into the cave. The duration may vary depending on the number of visitors waiting in line.
To preserve the natural environment and protect the site, swimming in the Lake is not allowed for visitors.
Visitors to Drogarati Cave must negotiate approximately 150 steep steps carved out of cave rock.
This tour is not suitable for cruise passengers due to time constraints. We recommend considering other options that better accommodate your schedule.
This tour is with an English-speaking guide.
The entrance fees to the caves are not included in the price.
Infants are not allowed.
We do not provide pick up from Lixouri Area. If you are staying in Lixouri and you wish to attend this excursion pick up is at Argostoli Port.
