Absolutely high point of my trip! How can you go wrong with the landscape of the Blue Mountains! I was blown away by the beauty of distant vistas, dripping caves, mosses, plants, reflecting ponds, waterfalls. Life couldn’t get much better. Yet Humans can mess up anything like they often do! No problem on this trip! Mitch was great at driving, story telling, teaching, balancing guiding & free time! Perfect! Great guide! Great group of active young people. This hiking mountain climbing old widow chose the right tour! No hopping out for a quick picture of vistas or holding/ petting wildlife, then back on the bus. No complaining, no whining, in our group! Mitch’s good humor, knowledge, & trail guidance made the trip flat out fun! As we relaxed & watched the sunset, it was hard to believe what a wonderful day we had! I felt so amazed & totally grateful. It was hard to believe everything could go so right, as we wound our way down out of the hills to town with the full moon rising! Thanks!

I wanted to give a huge shout out to our driver on 2/29 from Sydney (I'm sorry I forgot his name!). Due to weather, our cruise ship had a delayed docking, on top of which I was designated to a group with an even later departure from the ship causing us to miss our initial pickup time. I sent an email and was able to request a later one, but even then we were almost late. The driver was kind enough to give us a phone call and work with us so we didn't have to miss this trip. After taking off the driver took us to a location we were able to see kangaroos. This wasn't something I was expecting, and was entirely delighted by. Lastly, I appreciate his ability to make light of the weather. We encountered a ton of fog which ruined any hope for scenic views, which was disappointing, but the guide was able to make light of it in a way that left us feeling really happy about the experience despite the lack of mountainous views or the sunset we hoped for. Overall, I would recommend this trip!

Great tour with Derek. The lookout points that he chose were incredible. There were options for easier or more challenging hikes at various points so that each guest could choose how to spend their own time. Ample rest and toilet time. No food or water included, but there are stops where you can buy what you need. Bus was clean and cooled to comfortable temp. The weather didn't cooperate for a sunset view, but it was still fantastic.

Terry was amazing. We loved that the tour was a small group. We're able to connect with total strangers at the beginning & left with people we enjoyed. Our family/friends asked us what was our favorite part of the trip, we both said the tour of the Blue Mnts. Being able to explore the different the environment from the big city was life changing. Thank you Terry for helping us make wonderful memories.

Craig was a wonderful guide. Very knowledgeable and friendly. All our phones died and he stopped to buy a charger. So thoughtful!! Thetrip was great! The highlight for me was petting the koala. The blue mountains are spectacular and the stop off restaurants really good. A long day, with lots of steps but so worth it!!! We even saw a “mob” of kangaroos in the wild.
