As Trishuli River is located in a most convenient location (93 kms drive from Kathmandu, 100kms from Pokhara and 83 kms from Chitwan National Park), transit drive is connected along with this riverside to the most 3 touristic attraction in Nepal, Kathmandu, Pokhara and Chitwan.
Rafting in Trishuli River provides the excellent opportunity to see the great local green hills surroundings, scenic valleys, impressive mountain gorges, great river sand bars and picturesque middle hills of Nepal, with its local highways, local life, culture and traditions.
Rafting in Trishuli River is peace, pleasant and calm in some areas and there are numerous exciting rapids, as the name of Snail's nose, Teendevi, Malekhu rapid, Monkey rapid, Upset, Surprise, Monsoon, Cotton Pony, Ladies Delight, S-Bend, Highway, Monsoon and Pinball Rapid etc. with varied flows of water current which makes your rafting trip more interesting, challenging, and group fun trip.
Rafting in Trishuli River at monsoon is very challenging, exciting as it meets to the grade of 4+ by then, but it is risky as flood on the river could bring peace of trees and rafting is always in risk!

Detailed Itinerary: (Pre-meeting for Day Rafting in a Must in a previous day at 6:00 PM at our Office)
We will pick up you from your hotel at 6:30 AM and transfer to group bus/tourist bus, then transfer to the Rafting starting point at Charaudi which would takes approx. of 3 hours. This drive for almost half an hour is through the city, then further drive to the hills downs via local Prithivi Highway which is scenic, picturesque and interesting experience driving in Nepal.
Upon arriving to the rafting point, get off from the vehicle, our rafting guide will greet you there and ask you to take your life jacket, paddle. Further short 15 minute walking brings us to our boat at riverside.
Now our rafting Guide will explain you about the basic rafting technique, team rafting ideas, safe group paddling and emergency safety if raft is in risk or fall down.
Now, rafting starts! Slow starts, easy going with enjoying the great river valleys, green hills surroundings…..Further, number of Class II to Class III rapids are encountered, interesting, great fun and enjoyment, slightly challenging. Ratings are all given on the international rating scale.
Almost of two hours down the river is a beach with strange shaped boulders that resemble sculptures and this is the lunch spot. Outdoor Lunch is provided.
Paddling down after lunch, a large gorge is encountered, the Trishuli Gorge, which narrow and the walls very steep, is causing the river to accelerate through it. Naturally the rapids here are more ferocious and also more frequent. This is an exciting section and time to hold on tight.
We finally come across a rapid named after a very old suspension bridge, Jhoolunge Pul. Looking up one can see a crowd of locals chattering with excitement as they watch the adventurous foreigners tackle the river on rubber boats. One thing to watch for along the riverside, are the geological formations that look intriguing.
Here, our rafting ends. Come to the riverside, take boat out, then change the clothes and short walk up to the road to our group bus/public/ private car, then drive back to Kathmandu or transfer to Pokhara or Chitwan as per your travel plan (On private vehicle, additional cost for transfer to Pokhara or Chitwan could apply).
