Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)
Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you'll be warmly welcomed and transferred to your homestay in a traditional Nepali family environment. After settling in, enjoy a welcome dinner featuring authentic Nepali cuisine with your host family.
Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing & Cultural Experience
Explore Kathmandu’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and Patan Durbar Square. In the evening, return to your homestay and participate in a family cooking session, learning to prepare a traditional Nepali meal.
Day 3: Drive to Bandipur (1,030m)
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Bandipur, a charming hilltop town known for its preserved Newari culture and stunning views of the Himalayas. Upon arrival, settle into your homestay with a local family. Spend the afternoon exploring the town's ancient architecture, visiting temples, and enjoying panoramic mountain views.
Day 4: Explore Bandipur
Spend the day immersing yourself in the local culture. Visit the Siddha Gufa (cave), the largest cave in Nepal, and learn about the town's history and traditions. Interact with your host family and participate in daily activities.
Day 5: Drive to Pokhara (827m)
Depart Bandipur and drive to Pokhara, a beautiful lakeside city with breathtaking views of the Annapurna range. Upon arrival, settle into your homestay. Spend the afternoon visiting key attractions such as Davis Falls, Gupteshwor Cave, and the World Peace Pagoda.
Day 6: Sarangkot Sunrise & Pokhara Exploration
Early morning drive to Sarangkot to witness a stunning sunrise over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Return to your homestay for breakfast, followed by a day of exploring Pokhara’s attractions, including the International Mountain Museum and Bindhyabasini Temple. Enjoy a relaxing evening at Lakeside, experiencing Pokhara’s vibrant atmosphere.
Day 7: Drive to Panauti & Homestay Experience (1,500m)
After breakfast, drive to the historic town of Panauti, known for its ancient temples and rich Newari culture. Upon arrival, settle into your homestay with a local family. Spend the afternoon exploring the town, visiting the Indreshwar Mahadev Temple, and learning about Panauti’s cultural heritage.
Day 8: Panauti Cultural Immersion
Spend the day immersing yourself in the local way of life. Participate in traditional Newari rituals, learn about the town’s history, and interact with your host family. You may also have the opportunity to participate in agricultural activities or local crafts.
Day 9: Return to Kathmandu and Departure
After breakfast, bid farewell to your host family and drive back to Kathmandu. Depending on your flight time, you may have some free time for last-minute shopping or sightseeing. You’ll be transferred to the airport for your onward journey.
