Reachable only by car and bus, this tour takes you through the valley, down bumpy roads that run through rice fields, and remote villages. It is, beyond a doubt, off the beaten track.
Once at the Namo Buddha, pay a visit to the beautiful Thrangu Tashi Yangtse Monastery, home to over 250 monks, and then make your way to the imposing state of Shiva, considered the world's biggest Shiva statue, measuring 43.5 meters high.
While at the Namo Buddha Resort, enjoy a delicious 3-course organic lunch on the beautiful terrace, while marveling at the stunning view over the valley.
