What to Expect
This tour combines the rich architecture of Kathmandu with the beauty of Pokhara and the Annapurna Conservation Area. On the tour you will enjoy guided tours around Kathmandu and Pokhara, and will take a stunning 4-day trek through the Annapurna Mountains.

Day 1
On the first day you will be picked up by your driver and personal guide at Kathmandu International Airport. Your guide will give a brief introduction to Nepal and familiarize you with the 10-day Kathmandu, Pokhara and Annapurna Conservation Area itinerary.

Day 2
After breakfast, take a morning excursion to Kathmandu Valley. You will visit the Swayambhu Stupa. This monastery and temple boasts an incomparable atmosphere. Situated at the crest of a hill in a beautiful natural setting surrounded by other hills, the whole of the Kathmandu area can be viewed clearly from the top.

Return to Kathmandu Durbar Square, and explore the Pashupatinath Temple and Boudhhanath Stupa to view Nepalese arts and culture and the Nepalese people going about their daily lives.

At Pashupatinath Temple you can observe different ceremonies and ways of worshipping, including the cremation site on the edge of the sacred river. Witness the funeral procedure according to Hindu Culture.

Admire the great Newari architecture in Kathmandu Durbar Square, a place of living history in the heart of the modern city.

Finally, you will visit Bauddhanath Stupa to see the Tibetan community and view a traditional Buddhist temple complex. In the evening we will head back to Thamel, where you will spend the night at a 3-star hotel.

Day 3
Enjoy breakfast and then spend some time at leisure exploring Thamel at the very heart of Kathmandu’s tourist scene. Later in the morning we will commence our trip to Pokhara. Take a scenic drive of approximately 5 to 6 hours through the mountains, with stops in local villages to learn more about the mountain inhabitants’ way of life.

Check-in to your hotel at Pokhara before visiting Lake Phewa, where you will board a boat and sail to the Tal Barahi Temple. The second largest lake in Nepal, Lake Phewa will grant you superb views of the mountains as they are reflected in the lake. You will spend the night in Pokhara.

Day 4
Today you will be picked up at your hotel early in the morning. If you have to leave before breakfast, a breakfast box will be provided for the journey. Drive to Nayapul (3,280 feet) about 1 hour away and commence the trek at a comfortable speed, with plenty of time to rest and enjoy the sublime landscape surrounding you. The trail is easy to follow and climbs to Ghandruk (6,360 feet) taking approximately 7 to 8 hours. Your reward from the top of Ghandruk are the breathtaking views of the Annapurna Mountain Range.

Day 5
In comparison with yesterday the first 3 hours of today’s route will be much lighter, as the path goes downhill through forests, until we end up at the Modi Khola River that divides the Annapurna Range. The river is crossed by one of the famous suspension bridges, while the valley boasts an abundance of birdlife. Soak up the magical atmosphere and take a good rest before the 2-hour climb to Landruk (5,130 feet).

Day 6
Today’s 5-6 hour trek will have ups and downs, though your ultimate goal is located 6,232 feet above sea level. We leave Landruk early in the morning and pass though many small villages. Arrive at Deurali around lunch time and feast on the views of the Annapurna Range. The route takes you through thick jungle and cultivated ground. From Deurali the path will ascend towards Itali Camp, sometimes leading over stone paved stairs.

Day 7
Today is the final day of your trek as we descend to Kade in approximately 3 hours. Although this may seem light, it requires your full attention to drink in the beautiful scenery. We will walk slowly, giving plenty of time to enjoy the thrilling landscape, before joining your vehicle transfer back to Pokhara.

Day 8
After an early breakfast, continue your journey with a private sightseeing tour of the Annapurna Range, the most spectacular sight in Pokhara, especially in the early morning light.

Take in the 8 majestic mountains in front of you, a glorious sight that is especially breathtaking at sunrise that everyone in Pokhara wakes early for. The reflection of the sunlight from the mountain is always memorable, and the memories of the fishtail mountain saying "Good Morning" will last a lifetime.

Following our morning drive we will head to Devi's Waterfall, located 1.5 miles (2 kilometers) from Pokhara City. The water falls into a deep and narrow canal with no ends, but its lovely aspect should not be underestimated and it is thought to have taken the lives of some adventurers.

Head next to Fewa Lake, the second largest lake in Nepal. It offers superb views of the mountains, especially reflected in the lake. Enjoy some time boating on the lake, before leaving for Seti Gandaki, a river which flows right through the city and underground at many points.

If you don’t suffer from claustrophobia, it is possible to pay a visit to a bat's cave to see the hundreds of bats and to squeeze through its narrow exit. You will spend the night in Pokhara.

Day 9

After breakfast you will drive back to Kathmandu where you will have the time at leisure, either to continue sightseeing on your own, or to do some shopping for last minute souvenirs and gifts. Spend the night at a hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 10
Sadly your tour has come to an end, and today you will be picked up by your driver and dropped off at the airport in time for your onward flight.
