Embark on an unforgettable journey to one of the world's holiest lake. See the place that numerous Hindu pilgrims from Nepal, India, and other countries visit to pay their homage to the Gosainkunda Lake every year.

This 14-day tour takes you through an area that has gained popularity but is still one of the best ways to explore the Himalayas away from the crowds. Discover its natural beauty and magnificent views over the great Himalayas. Seize the opportunity to travel through some of the most enticing landscapes the Himalayas has to offer. From Kathmandu follow the trail to Dhunche and from Dhunche along the ridge through beautiful rhododendron and juniper forests up to Gosainkunda Lake and back to Kathmandu.

Itinerary

Day 1
Meet your guide at your hotel and then relax on a 7-hour bus ride until you arrive in Syabrubesi (1,610 meters). Stay overnight at the guest house.

Day 2
5.5-hour trek from Syabrubesi To Lama Hotel (2,480 meters). Stay overnight at the guest house.

Day 3
5-hour trek from Lama Hotel To Langtang Village (3,541 meters). Stay overnight at the guest house.

Day 4
4-hour trek to Kyanjin Gompa (3,830 meters). Stay overnight at the mountain lodge

Day 5
7.5-hour trek From Langtang Village to Chorkari Ri (5,050 meters) and back to Kyangjn Gompa. Stay overnight at the guest house.

Day 6
6-hour trek down To Lama Hotel (2,480 meters). Stay overnight at the guest house.

Day 7
5.5-hour trek From Lama Hotel to Thulo Syabru (2,200 meters). Stay overnight at the guest house.

Day 8
5-hour trek from Thulo Syabru to Sing Gompa (3,580 meters). Stay overnight at the guest house.

Day 9
5-hour trek from Sing Gompa To Gosainkunda (4,380 meters). Stay overnight at the guest house.

Day 10
6-hour trek over the Lauribina Pass (3,600 meters). Descend to Phedi (3,420 meters). Stay overnight at the guest house.

Day 11
Trek From Phedi To Thadepati (3,690 meters). Stay overnight at the guest house.

Day 12
Trek from Thadepati to Kutumsang (2,470 meters). Stay overnight at the guest house.

Day 13
Trek from Kutumsang to Chisapani (2,215 meters). Stay overnight at the guest house.

Day 14
Trek To Sundarijal (1,460 meters) and drive back to Kathmandu.
