Relish adventurous trekking and views of soaring mountain peaks and learn about the culture and lifestyle of the people of the Langtang region. Walking through the rhododendron forests inside the Langtang National Park, you can see endangered animals like the Red Panda, the national bird of Nepal, Lhophophorus, Grey Langurs, and several other birds and animals. The trail to the Langtang Valley and Gosaikunda Trek is moderate. The high passes you reach on the Langtang Valley are Kyanjin Ri of 4,773 meters and Tserko Ri of 4,984 meters. The last settlement you will stay at is Kyanjin Gompa, and you will hike up to Kyanjin Ri or Tserko Ri the next day. You can find fewer travelers on Langtang Trek compared to the Everest and Annapurna Trek. We will trek down to Foprang Danda and begin our next part of the trek to Gosaikunda. The trail to the Gosaikunda is walking through the stairs relishing the rhododendron forests side by side and mesmerizing views of mountain ranges. Enjoying the beauty of nature you will reach Gosaikunda Lake. The Lake is famous among Hindu pilgrims from all over the world. Especially in the Janai Purnima festival, which usually falls in August, you can find the trail full of pilgrims. This 13 days trekking tour of Langtang and Gosaikunda takes you on the trail providing a magnificent panorama of the Himalayan Ranges and several lakes. Day 2: Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1460m.|4790ft., 7 - 8hrs) Day 3: Trek to Sherpa Gaun (2563m.|8406ft., 6 - 7hrs) Day 4: Trek to Thyangsyapu (3140m.|10299ft., 6 - 7hrs) Day 5: Trek to Kyanjin Gompa (3870m.|12696ft., 4 - 5hrs) Day 6: Acclimatization day: hike to Tserko Ri (4984m.|16347ft.) or Kyanjin Ri (4773m.|15655ft.)
