Full description

The tour begins with a pick up from your hotel in Kathmandu to proceed towards Chandragiri Hills Cable Car Base Station. Opened in 2016, the 2.4 km ‘Cable Car’ ride takes you on a 15 minute thrilling trip to the Bhaleshwor Mahadev Temple at the top of the hill. The multiple viewpoints in the hill offers you a beautiful panoramic view of Kathmandu Valley with the mesmerizing backdrop of Mt. Everest, Mt. Annapurna and Mt. Manaslu. The hill station also offers you with a wide range of intercontinental cuisines and accommodation on a five star hotel for those seeking an stay overnight.

For an added bonus, you will now head towards Swayambhunath, the very famous monkey temple. Swayambhunath, an ancient religious complex atop a hill in the Kathmandu Valley, is a sacred religious site to both Hindus and Buddhists. Here you will be exploring the ancient complex consisting of a stupa, a variety of shrines and temples.

From all the tours we ever got, this trip was one of the most enjoyable experiences. Guide and driver arrived on time, both spoke excellent English, car was immaculately clean. Our tour guide was very knowledgable and filled us in on many facts and stories in connection to our chosen tour. Throughout the day he was very patient and understanding, tailored the tour according to our interest and physical ability, gave us time to look around and take pictures. There was no overwhelming feeling of being rushed. The day went at our pace and we felt heard as well as entertained. An overall amazing experience that left us with beautiful memories. Highly recommend.
