Next on the vision is Buddha Air Mountin Choba-Bhamare, the smallest mountain of the lot, but singularly stubborn as it has never been climbed. Then appears the mountain that is not only prominent in sight but also in its spirituality, Gauri-Shanker. Lord Shiva and his consort Gauri are said to protect this mountain, which was first successfully climbed only in 1979. The mountains of Melungtse and Chugimago are next on the tour, the latter of which is still waiting to be climbed. Numbur and Karyolung, an intensely white mountain, will gleam with the rising sun as we carry on deeper into the mountain range. We will then pass Cho-Oyu, the sixth highest mountain in the world, reaching a height of 27,000 feet (8,201 meters). Gyachungkang, Pumori and Nuptse, each over 22,000 feet (7,000 meters) in height, will mark our path towards the highest mountain of them all: Mount Everest. Known as Sagarmatha by the Nepalese and Chomolungma by the Tibetans, this unbelievable mountain stretches 29,021 feet (8,848 meters) into the sky. One of the important highlights of this Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek is to make a climb on Poon Hill. When the sun rises, it touches the snow-capped summits of the Himalayan giants, Dhaulagiri (8,167m) and Annapurna (8,091m) along with a maze of other peaks, there gradually appear, just like magic that your eye could not believe. Day 1: Kathmandu arrival (4,265 feet) Day 2: Fly to Pokhara (2,900 feet); drive to Nayapul (3,510 feet); trek to Tikhedhunga (5,053 feet) After breakfast in the hotel, the tour starts with a 25-minute flight from Kathmandu Airport to Pokhara. In Pokhara, visit the deep, narrow gorge of roaring Seti River and then drive to Davi’s Falls and further to Gupteswar Cave and the Bat Cave. Laze by the Phewa Lake and take a leisurely row on its sparkling waters. Drive 25 miles to Nayapul for the start of the trek. A steep trail from Nayapul directs trekkers down to a bridge over a small stream to get to Birethanti, a large and prosperous village. From Birethanti, take the left branch of the trail on the west side of the bridge at the ACAB post, where you'll need to show your ACAP permit and TIMS Card. Following the trail through main streets of Birethanti, winding through bamboo forests and past a large waterfall and swimming hole, reach Sudami beyond a pasture used by caravans. Climb steadily up the side of the valley to reach Hille, and about 15 minutes above Hille is the Tikhedhunga. Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner. Day 3 Trek to Ghorepani (9,023 feet) Day 4: Trek to Poon Hill (10,532 feet); trek to Nayapul, 3-4 hours, 3,280 foot descent; drive to Pokhara After about an hour climb in the morning, reach Poon Hill, which is a viewpoint for the spectacular Himalayan panorama extending from Dhaulagiri to Annapurna to Machhapuchhre, stretching from Dhaulagiri I and Tukuche to Nilgiri, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Hiunchuli, and Tarke Kang. Take the main trail that leads south dropping at first on a staircase, and then traversing high above the river on a stone paved trail. Cross a stream at Chane (5,540 feet) and continue to Kimche (5,380 feet) and follow the ridge downhill to join the Modi Khola at Syauli bazaar (3,740 feet). From there on, the walking is flat. Follow the river valley through a lovely birch forest and rice terraces before reaching Birethanti. Walk 30 minutes on a rough and rocky road to get to Nayapul, from where you'll drive back to Pokhara. Meals: breakfast, lunch, farewell dinner. Day 5 : Fly back to Kathmandu Take a last memorable look at the Annapurna ranges and take a flight back to Kathmandu. Meals: breakfast.

This is the ultimate Everest Circuit Trek meant for only the truly adventurous as this trail takes us from Thame to Gokyo over Renjo La pass (5345m) and Gokyo to EBC over Cho La pass (5420m). The trip begins with a flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, the trailhead for Everest trek in the Khumbu Valley. From here, we trek to Namche Bazar, the Sherpa capital, before breaking off the main Everest trail and heading west to Thame and onwards towards the remote Nangpa Valley, close to the border with Tibet. Crossing through 5345m Renjo La is a tough day, but at the end of the day we are rewarded with breathtaking views of Everest, as well and mountains to the east and Cho Oyu to the west. Through a leisurely walk downhill we reach the serene beauty of Gokyo Lakes, where we will have a rest day, before climbing the famous view point of Gokyo Ri (5360m/17586ft) from where the mountain panorama is stunning: from distant Kusum Kanguru, Thamserku, Kyashar and Kantega in the southeast to the prominent Taboche and Cholatse as you turn eastward, to Makalu, Lhotse, Nuptse, Everest, Changtse and Pumori. Our route continues over the colossal Ngozumpa Glacier then climbs to the foot of the next high pass, the Cho La. The crossing of the Cho La involves walking up steep screen, which is frequently icy, to reach a small glacier at the top, before zig zagging down the other side. We regain the main Everest trail the following day and continue up to Kala Patar and Everest Base Camp. The folks on the plane were very helpful showing us the mountains and their names. Of course, I wished we could fly closer. Perhaps next time I'll fly to base camp!! . Also pick up drivers were on time and friendly!!! Thank you everyone.

I can only recommend booking a sightseeing flight once you are in Nepal. Otherwise you can only see the everest and the entire mountain chain of the Himalayas from afar

Unique experience. The guide should tell you which airline you are flying with, as he will not go through security at the airport.
