Our train was 30 minutes late. The driver/tour guide, Jason, was still patiently waiting for us and welcomed us with a good attitude. There weren’t any other people on the tour (we were told they were moved to tomorrow) so it became a private tour. The places he took us to were all very amazing and beautiful and he also helped to take pictures.

What an exquisite day. I was the only passenger on the tour and upon arriving in Katerini I was a bit worried as the train station appears to be very rundown. Monika met me there and away we went. Because I was the only passenger Monika offered some different options for our time together and tailored it completely to me - ending off with a drop off at my hotel and a coffee together. Spending the day with Monika was more like spending time with a friend than feeling I was on a tour. Thank you Monika!

Our guide picked us up from our hotel which was very helpful. His English was great and he knew a lot about the history of Greece. He was also a very safe driver. We thoroughly enjoyed our excursion.
