Our guide Marko was excellent in explaining the vast and diverse history of Croatia in general but also the Plitvice Lakes National Park, Rastoke Village etc! We had a good size group and did the activity within the given timeframe. Be prepared to spend the entire day outside with very little time for rest or sitting. We were moving and walking the entire time aside from the bus ride which was 3 hours each way. But I would still recommend it as it’s worth it! My husband and I had a great time although our legs got tired by halfway of the trip. It’s also very crowded during summer months but people are respectful and friendly so you can rest assured enjoy your time and have plenty of opportunities for pictures.
Our trip was great! Everything went smoothly. This was mainly because of our guide Bojan. He gave clear instructions and gave us a lot of freedom during the walks. Also we got a few breaks to drink some coffee or go to the toilet. After we arrived we got a break and after the first hike (about 2 - 2.5 hours). Perfect balance between walking and resting. He made a Whatsapp group so that everybody knew where to go and at what time to be there. He even stayed at critical junctions to point out the way to go. At the end Bojan gave some tips for nice restaurants and bars to go to which is a definite plus! When you are visiting the Plitvice Lakes i highly recommend you book this trip.
Sanja was a great guide!! The bus was very clean and had AC which was nice bonus. It is definitely a long drive from Split and we got stuck in some traffic that made it even longer but Sanja told us lots about the history of Croatia and different points of interest in the drive that kept us engaged. Plitvice is definitely worth the drive, just know it’s a long day of driving and then walking but it was so beautiful to see! Definitely recommend.
Very good organization of the trip. The trip went smoothly, punctually, in a comfortable bus (the driver drove exceptionally calmly, which is a big plus). The guide Paula took care of a nice atmosphere, willingly shared her knowledge, adjusted the pace to the needs of the participants. Plitvice is worth seeing, we especially liked the lower lakes.
