Our day begins at the Port of Vlore. • Sazan Island is our first destination. Albania’s largest island, rich in history and wildlife, offers a unique experience. Hike through the mysterious old town uphill, exploring the old architecture and strategic points, or simply let nature unwind you. Small-Group Snorkeling Tour to Haxhi Ali Cave & Karaburun Inner Coast Join a small group for a more personal and exclusive experience exploring Karaburun National Marine Park. Departure: 9:00 AM & 1:30 PM from Vlora Touristic Port (arrive 10 minutes early to meet with the Guide). First Stop: Haxhi Ali Cave (30-minute ride). Snorkel inside the cave and explore its crystal-clear waters. Free snorkel gear is available. Next, Cruise along the coast, stopping at hidden bays and cliffs. You can jump in, swim, or relax with a refreshing drink onboard. Final Stop, a secluded beach on the Karaburun Peninsula. You will have one hour of free time to swim, sunbathe, or grab local food and drinks at a small tavern (please note, at the taverna, you can only pay in cash). Return: A 30-minute ride back to Vlora Touristic Port. With a small group setting, this tour offers a relaxed, intimate, and unforgettable experience! Join us for an unforgettable adventure departing at either 9:30 AM or 13:30 from the Port. To ensure a smooth start, please arrive 5-10 minutes early to meet your friendly guide. Our first destination is the enchanting Sazan Island, just a short 40-50 minute journey from the Port. You'll have the opportunity to explore the historic Old Town alongside our knowledgeable guide. Alternatively, if visiting before May 15, we'll explore the picturesque Port of Sazan Island and its stunning coastline. From Sazan Island, we'll hop on a boat for a quick 15-20 minute ride to Haxhi Ali Cave. Dive into the crystal-clear waters and snorkel through the cave's hidden wonders, with complimentary gear provided by your guide. After our cave exploration, we'll continue our journey to Saint Jani Bay, nestled within the scenic Karaburun Peninsula. Here, you can take a refreshing dip in the turquoise waters and discover the vibrant marine life with ample snorkeling opportunities. To cap off our adventure, we'll head to a well-equipped beach within the Karaburun National Marine Park. You'll enjoy approximately 1.5 to 2 hours of free time. Relax on the pristine beach, and indulge in a delicious lunch featuring local cuisine at the Taverna (please note: Taverna is closed in May, and is only possible to pay in cash), you can also rent sunbeds and umbrellas at the beach (the price is approximately 10-15 euros). Explore and have a wonderful experience both the boundaries of the Karaburun peninsula and Sazan island. Enjoy the vast array of land forms, including mountains, caves, island, bays, cliffs, beaches, and rocky coasts. First, we visit the Sazan island where you will stay for 1 hour, which you can spend your time,on the beach with blue crystal water of the Island and an amazing underwater world for snorkeling or have visit to the old inhabited part of Sazan Island by walk, strategically fortified during the communism time with military bases, bunkers and underground tunnels. Even the Italians have left their architectural traces on this island during the Italian occupation with residential, military buildings and even entertainment building such as cinemas or theater. Then we head to Haxhi Ali Cave where we stay for 20 min. Here you can do some swimming and diving in the underwater world. You will explore this cave made by nature with amazing colors and wild shapes full of wonderful stalactites. But the excitement doesn't end there, after the visit to the Haxhi Ali cave we head to the beautiful beach of Karaburun peninsula, where you will spend the rest of your free time by swimming and snorkeling into blue crystal and refreshment waters on this wild beach . Once we are at Karaburn beach, you can access to the small and wonderful bay of St. Koli by walking for 10 min. This bay is made of two small pebble wild beaches with blue crystal waters and amazing underwater world. In the end, get back to the meeting point. An adventure awaits reserve your spot today.

First Part - Driving from Tirana/Durres toward Vlora. We will leave Tirana at 07:30 to head toward the southern coastal part of Albania. In around 2:30 hours of drive, we will have reached the “City of Independence”, Vlora. In addition, we will join a small group about the tour organized by our local partners in Vlora. In this 3-hour tour, we will be able to cover some of the best parts of Karaburun-Sazan National Marine Park, renowned for its rich biodiversity and stunning natural beauty. Second PartThe Former Military Island of Sazan Sazan Island stands as the largest island in Albania, a treasure trove of history and natural wonders waiting to be explored. This enigmatic island of the Albanian Riviera has been known since ancient times. Its strategic location has bestowed it with a fascinating military history, evident in the extensive underground tunnels that crisscross beneath its surface. These tunnels, once secretive military installations, now add an air of mystery and adventure to the island, inviting explorers to delve into its hidden depths. Today, efforts are being made to preserve these historical sites, ensuring that future generations can appreciate the island’s rich heritage. Whether you are exploring the ancient underground tunnels, marveling at the untouched rock formations, or diving into the crystal-clear waters of the Adriatic and Ionian Seas, Sazan Island offers a unique and enriching experience. It’s a place where history and nature converge, providing a serene escape from the modern world. Second Stop- Haxhi Alia's Cave (Pirates Cave) and some small remote bays. The tour continues with a mesmerizing 40-minute boat ride to the iconic Haxhi Ali Cave, where you’ll have a generous 20 minutes to swim, snorkel, explore, and be enchanted by the cave’s natural beauty. A famous cave with a total length of around 100m has been used by various Sailors and Pirates. Free time to swim and explore the cave. Third Stop - Monastery of Zvernec Connected now by a wooden, picturesque bridge this Island is the seat of the active Orthodox Monastery of Zvernec. On a small island within the Narta Lagoon, the Zvernec Monastery appears before hundreds of pine trees. Also known as the St. Mary Of Divinity Church, the Byzantine-era church was thought to be built sometime during the 14th century. Right next to the entrance to the bridge, metal flamingos shoot out from the water. These are here because Narta Lagoon is known for its actual flamingos. After a long absence, the area is now said to be home to around 3,000 of these long-necked fellows. If you like birds, you can also have a seat along the shore and search the skies and water for pelicans, herons, and a few other species. After an afternoon spent in Zvernec, return to Tirana at the evening

Explore the sandy beaches, splashing bays, and scenic caves of Southern Albania on a multi-stop speedboat trip from Vlore. Cruise through the Bay of Vlora, Dafina, and Bristan, and explore the Haxhi Ali Cave. Spend free time on the beach and enjoy included sandwiches and soft drinks. After meeting your guide, hop on board and head to the Haxhi Ali Cave. The cave gets its name from the pirate Haxhi Ali, who used it as a refuge in the 16th century. After a 20-minute break in the cave, return through the Bay of Vlore.  Admire some of the most popular places on the riviera, like Zhiron and Kalasa Beach, on the way to Dafina Bay, a small horseshoe-shaped bay with white sandy beaches about 50 meters wide. The bay is one of the wonders of the Karaburun Marine Area. To get to Dafina Bay’s beaches, it takes hours of walking on foot, so being able to visit by boat is a real privilege. Dafina Bay is also known for the small cave it houses. Enter directly by boat and see a picture-perfect small beach with white stones and a palm tree.  Stop for 4 hours at Dafina Beach before leaving for another beautiful bay, Bristan Bay, a rocky beach with a shore dominated by steep cliffs that fall towards the sea and rocky pebble beaches where vegetation often grows right up to the sand. Set anchor at another one of the best beaches in Albania on the Karaburun-Sazan Peninsula, where ships used to take shelter in the past when the sea was too rough. Here, peace and tranquility are the real protagonists.  In addition to the beach, you can step onto the mainland and see an abandoned military building, a small pier, and some protected bunkers behind steep cliffs. Among the rocks, you’ll find deep canyons that were once used as fallout shelters 30 years ago.
