Amazing day trip experience! Unlike our other Sri Lanka tour, this one included quite a few places without an entrance fee or with very reasonable budget options. We skipped the Royal Botanical gardens, and the dance (and still made it back to Colombo only at 11 p.m. Keep in mind the tour started at 6 a.m.), but we definitely went for the elephant foundation and it was the best experience I could have ever wished for... feeding them, going on a walk, brushing and bathing them in a very friendly environment with knowledgeable guides and mahouts is the recipe for a perfect activity. Our driver, Ruchira, was calm, patient, and always alert behind the wheel. Safety first is his style and we were grateful for that.
This tour was really great and I can recommend it to anyone who is in Sri Lanka. Mr. Indika was very experienced and accompanied me through the day with great stories and funny jokes. Since he completely catered to my individual wishes, no wish was left unfulfilled and my expectations were exceeded. The end in Minneriya National Park with a sighting of elephants was the best way to end the tour.
This is much more than just a Pinnawala activity. It includes dozens of visits to various facilities such as herbal gardens, gem museum, etc. The team was very professional customized my trip, excellent service I give them maximum rating and would do it again.
Very nice advises from our guide. We discover or rediscover plants, fruits and vegetables. Thank you very much it was amazing, swiming, beautiful color with tea and rice fields, local people always smiling. Even the rain was not a problem.
Dushan was very nice and very helpful with everything.
