My trip with Chinthaka, the guide, was an extremely enjoyable experience. He picked me up from my hotel in Kandy, and we first headed to the Ambuluwawa Tower. Although Ambuluwawa is a very famous tourist destination, access by private vehicles is restricted, so it’s necessary to arrange a paid tuk-tuk within the premises—but thanks to Chinthaka, this process went very smoothly. There are many places to visit in Kandy, but it’s difficult to cover them all in a single trip. I recommend planning your itinerary in advance and discussing it with him. In my case, I focused on temples and tried to avoid places with on-site sales as much as possible. Still, skipping all such places might make the tour a bit dull, so I appreciated it when he suggested a spice garden that wasn’t originally on the plan. It turned out to be a great stop, as the garden grows ingredients used in beauty products—an area I’m particularly interested in. I even ended up purchasing a few items I really liked.

We did a combined day tour of Yala and Udawalawe, and it was absolutely worth it! Even though it was a full-day trip, everything was well-timed and smooth. We saw elephants up close at Udawalawe and then explored Yala where we were lucky to spot a leopard, crocodiles, and plenty of birds. Our guide, Sasanka, was amazing—very knowledgeable, friendly, and skilled at finding animals. To top it off, the local cuisine lunch included in the tour was the best we had in Sri Lanka—delicious and authentic! A long but unforgettable day packed with wildlife, nature, and great food. Highly recommended.

I had an amazing experience visiting Yala National Park in Sri Lanka. Our tour guide, Sasanka, was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the entire excursion. The trip was very well organized and efficient - we managed to see a wide variety of wildlife, including leopards, elephants, water buffalos, monkeys and many birds. It was truly a memorable experience. Highly recommend!
