Full description
Immerse yourself in Japanese nature and culture by visiting two of its most iconic UNESCO sites, Mount Fuji and Shirakawa Village, and exploring the beautiful areas of Osaka, Takayama, and Kanazawa on a 4-day unforgettable tour starting from Tokyo.

Day 1:
The adventure begins with pickup from Ikebukuro or Shinjuku in Tokyo (depending on the option selected.) Head out of the busy city towards the first stop of the tour, Mount Fuji.

Arrive at Mount Fuji Fifth Station and enjoy 40 minutes to admire breathtaking views of the landscape. Gaze up at the snow-capped peak, which has inspired masterpieces of literature and art throughout Japanese history.

After a buffet lunch at Fuji-Q Highland Amusement Park, continue the tour to Hida-Takayama. You’ll be dropped off at the train station, where you can make your own way to your self-booked accommodation.

Day 2:
Grab breakfast from the Country Hotel Takayama from 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM then spend the day exploring at your own pace with a one-day bus pass provided by the tour conductor.

Visit landmarks including the Old Town district, Takayama Jinya, Hida Folk Village, Matsuri no Mori, and more.

Day 3:
Begin with another buffet breakfast then depart from the train station towards Shirakawa Village. Discover the wonders of this UNESCO listed destination and marvel at the impressive Gassho-style houses that have stood here for over 300 years.

Learn about the village’s unique cultural practices and traditional lifestyle then head off to Kanazawa City. The tour conductor drops you off at Kenroukuen Garden, one of the most beautiful gardens in Japan.

After your visit to the garden, spend some free time exploring the rest of the city on your own. Highlights of Kanazawa include Castle Park, D.T. Suzuki Museum, and the Nagamachi District. The night will be spent at your self-booked accommodation.

Day 4:
On your last tour day, use your breakfast coupon at one of the selected restaurants in the city, then utilize the rest of the morning for some final sightseeing.

Meet the tour conductor at 3:05 PM then enjoy drop-off at one of the following locations: Kyoto Avanti at 7:10 PM, Namba OCAT at 8:10 PM, or Hearton Hotel Nishi-Umeda at 8:30 PM.
